Book Review - Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll

Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, is a very unique and creative book, it may not appeal to everyone but I think the people that do enjoy would really love this book, but I am not one of those people as I did not enjoy most of this book, I think the reason that I did not enjoy this book is because it has too much action, and I do not have the energy to keep up with it, I think if I was a little younger this would be one of my favourite books in the whole wide world. For me, my favourite character in the book is Alice because of her curiousness, how she is clumsy but also at times mature. Another character in the book that I like is The Chesire Cat because of how cunning and cheeky it can be at times and also it makes me laugh out loud how silly it is. My favourite part of the book is when Alice is inside the house and drinks the bottle that says ‘Drink Me’ and than she grows bigger than the house, and her limbs are going out the windows, I just find it very whimsical. I think the books message was to have an imagination and try to be creative. I would recommend this book to children in primary school because even I am young and i can’t keep up with the book so it would be better for younger kids to read it.
